What is lead crystal?
Lead crystal is glass into which a percentage of metallic lead oxide
has been added for a clearer brighter quality. Lead crystal is also
stronger and more durable than glass and gives off a strong note when
rung.
What is Deep-Cut crystal?
Deep-Cutting is a method of cutting crystal done on high angled
abrasive wheels. This method is extremely tedious but results in a most
brilliant reflective sparkle and sharp a crisp feel.
How should crystal be cleaned?
Crystal should be washed by hand in warm, sudsy water, since extreme
changes in temperature can crack crystal. Dishwasher detergent and
other abrasives may slowly etch the glass until it is permanently gray
and lackluster. Adding a little white vinegar to wash and rinse water
will discourage spotting. For stubborn stains, try rubbing the crystal
with half a lemon or washing in undiluted white vinegar. To dry, use a
lint-free dishtowel. To dust, use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with
a mild water-and-ammonia solution. Never "dry dust" because surface
dirt may scratch the crystal surface.
How can I place an order on the site?
Select one of our Categories from the menu at the top of each page and
choose a Sub Category. The products in that Sub Category will appear.
When you click on a product that interests you, a product detail page
will appear that describes the product in more detail. Should you wish
to purchase the product, simply press on the Add to Cart button. The
product will be placed in the shopping bag and you can continue
shopping. To complete your purchase, press on the Checkout button in
the Shopping Bag and follow instructions.
How about duties and tax?
Any duties and/or import fees are the responsibility of the customer.
If sales tax are applicable, it will be automatically added during the
checkout process.
Do I need to register every time I visit ArribasBrothers.com?
No. After placing your first order, we will remember your customer
information. Simply input your email address and password in the
"Returning Customer" section, when prompted, and we will utilize your
personal information from a previous visit. Of course you may update
any incorrect information before checkout.
How soon do I get the products I ordered?
In most cases, we will have your ordered products in stock.
Occasionally, we encounter stock-outs on popular products. In this
event, we will notify you by email within 2 working days with an
expected delivery time. Normal orders are processed within 2 business
days. Shipping time will vary based on the shipping option selected at
checkout.
How much does the shipping cost?
All shipping charges are based upon the total value of the order and
the shipping method selected. During the checkout process and before
the order is placed, the shipping charge will be calculated and
displayed. The customer may then choose to select an alternate shipping
method or abandon the order.
May I send the products to a different address than mine?
Yes. You may ship to a different address than your billing address.
However, the billing address must be the same as the address of your
credit card to ensure approval by the credit card processing agency.
May I return the products if I am not satisfied?
Yes. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. Any item (except for
personalized or custom made items) may be returned to Arribas Brothers,
in its original condition and packaging, within 60 days of purchase for
a full refund, credit or exchange. All shipping, handling and/or import
fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. See
